The importance of media training

Are you confident in the ability of your senior leaders working with the press to build your brand or in responding to a crisis situation?

As a former CBS-TV News producer with more than 30 years’ experience in public relations and global crisis communications, I have helped clients work through unexpected difficult issues, including Parmalat, Refco, the Arthur Andersen/Andersen Consulting hostile split, an IRS Corporate Tax Shelter investigation, negative Regulatory Inspection reports, a US Senate Inquiry, SEC disciplinary actions and FCPA charges. And not just in the US, but in North and South America, Europe and Asia.

The virtual media training takes place over Zoom and you may invite up to five attendees.  The 90-minute session covers the following areas:

  1. Overview of the press -- how they operate, what they want, and how to work with them;
  2. How to successfully prepare for a phone, Zoom, or in-person interview;
  3. How to handle negative/unpleasant press questions;
  4. Interview role playing;
  5. Question and answer time.

The cost for the virtual session is $1,500 and can be customized to your industry and include your topics/issues of concern.
